2013 has arrived and while it may not have been with a bang on my part, more like a quite reception with a glass of pink sparkling wine, I believe that no matter how it was received, it holds lots of promises, surprises, dreams and adventures ready to be lived.
So as we all flick to the first page on our calendars, I thought it would be a perfect time to share a few Irish memories of my 2012:

Saving life, a photo taken in my favourite place in Dublin: Howth

Looking for the waterfall, a stroll through the woods in Ballycastle Forest, Northern Ireland

A Beehive on the grounds of Castle Archdale in Co. Fermanagh

Irish cross in Glendalough, Co. Wicklow

A colourful ride, an old-fashioned carousel in Trim

Windowbox, at the Windmills in Skerries, Co. Dublin

Blue and green, an Iris in the gardens of Ardgillen Castle

Old Lighthouse, a view from Carrick Fergus castle

Dangerous walk, the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge in Antrim

Floating, a resting duck on a Lough in Fermanagh

Take a swing in Fairview Park, Dublin

Evening light, just outside my door

Rainy day on the Giants Causeway, Northern Ireland
And because I took so many photos this year I decided to make calendars as Christmas presents to some friends and family who are dear to me. And here is what it looked like:
I hope they enjoy it as much as I did making it!
