Earth, one word that describes not only the planet we live on but also the very ground we walk on. As a city dweller earth is not something I see a lot of, cemented pavements and tarmac roads make up most of the surfaces that I walk, cycle or drive on. Maybe that is why parks and gardens are so vital to city life, we need to be reminded that just below the surface is the earth we are part of.
