As a designer/ art director  I have worked for several publications. Amongst others Village Magazine (both under Vincent Browne and Michael Smith), Click Magazine, Backpacker and Abroad. One of my most recent project has been with Suburbia Magazine which I designed from scratch and worked as the lead designer on for the first year. I also did an overhaul on Cheers Magazine.

I love the creativity designing magazines bring, the variety of possibilities and the use of images. I also love the challenge of putting all the different copy together and creating a page-plan that reflects what the reader needs. I enjoy the pressure deadlines brings as I often find that working at a high level helps you come up with ways to solve problems or issues that otherwise never present themselves.
