I am more of a words than a numbers person, remembering pin’s and door codes can be somewhat of an issue. But while thinking about this weekly photo challenge I realised how many numbers surround me.
From the number on my front door, to the number on the bus I take into town, to the number on the scheduled room or the numbers displaying the time, numbers seem to punctuate my days.
However, even if numbers may be everywhere I don’t seem to take photos of them, maybe it’s because I no longer see them. One of the rare occasions where I took a shot with numbers in it was when I spotted sheep on a field, counted by their owner and I remember wondering if the farmer fell asleep while doing so

Wish falling asleep was that easy! I am your brother in spirit when it comes to remembering numbers. I know my phone number from when I was a kid, but I can’t tell you the phone numbers of anyone in my family. Today, numbers seem to be programmed into our phones, not our heads. I check my boarding pass a hundred times to make sure I’m sitting at the right gate. Even tho I haven’t moved, maybe the loading gate has!
I know what you mean – it’s as if O read them but then don’t compute them
Do you think they skip count when counting ewes and their lambs? The twins and triplets might be a challenge though.
Good question … Must find a farmer and ask
